What is Pack-a-Thon?
Pack-a-Thon Challenge is a week-long event where we will be asking our students to challenge themselves in new ways each day. We will be posing a variety of challenges throughout the week – some social, some physical, some academic. We will also be challenging ourselves, our Wilson families and our community on the fundraising side – we challenge ourselves to raise $65,000 through Pack-a-Thon this year. The students’ efforts will culminate with an ultimate physical challenge as students participate in a variety of stations sponsored by YES! Fitness.
The fundraiser will kick off on Wednesday, October 19. It will end with the Pack-a-Thon day on Thursday, October 27th.
Why are we fundraising?
The TWE Pack-a-Thon is our primary fundraiser used to support our mission of making every child’s potential a reality. Funds raised are used to support developing our campus infrastructure to fit the physical and mental needs of our students, parent programs, Arts in Education programs, technology advancements, community building events for our families, Watch D.O.G.S., curriculum support, and much, much more.
What is our Goal?
Our school goal is to raise $65,000...that's only $60 per student.
How it works:
Students will be encouraged to obtain donations during this Challenge week. Donations can be submitted via cash, check or online. Parents are encouraged to set up a “student pledge page” online through our partner www.thegetmovincrew.com. Parents can then share this page on social media to provide family and friends with an opportunity to support their TWE student.
